The {21} Challenge - Day Fifteen

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Rhonna's Challenge definitely has me motivated. Its Day Fifteen - and for a PINK quote its a GREAT Quote!!

From Rhonna's Website:

Never discourage anyone...who continually makes progress, no matter how slow." Plato

"With this quote, I would like you to replace 'anyone' with... yourself...Never discourage yourself. We are all making progress even if it's slow. Don't get down on yourself...you are doing it...at your own pace. 15 days is a huge accomplishment...just keep it up! Love seeing your wonderful art journals & hearing about your journeys! We are doing it...it feels good, no?"

Yes it does!! I may not actually "create" something everyday, but It's got me thinking about it...EVERY DAY. Thats awesome!!! I'm planning new "creations" and getting excited to use up my stash...... using up stash = more stash!! I love buying things that make me happy!!!

Today DH & I walked both dogs for a little while - It was such a nice day! I literally attacked my garden. No more sunflowers, (I picked them and cooked some.....YUMMY), I also picked the last tomatoes....(made Yummy spaghetti sauce too..... we will be trying that out tomorrow!) Poor tomatoes, happily on a vine in the morning, and by 4PM in a pot of boiling water. I felt bad for the little (big) guys! I also picked the last of the cucumbers, broccoli and cauliflower! All I have left are carrots, brussel sprouts and pumpkins..... Speaking of pumpkins...I made an interesting discovery today. I have a pumpkin growing up the vines, almost to the hydro wires! I believe I'll have to be "creative" in picking it, {21} day challenge or not!! LOL I'll have to take a picture of it and post it. Its kinda funny that this quote happened today. Growing a garden is such a slow process, the only fast thing about it is the weeds!!

The {21} Day Challenge - Day Thirteen

Rhonna's Challenge is at Day Thirteen and I'm still in it!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Granted, Its Friday, and I was SOOOOO tired after work. It took 2 1/2 hours just to get home! Crazy Border!! Stupid, Stupid, Stupid......

So I spent time with the family, hanging on the couch watching A Resident Evil Movie! I love it when a girl kicks ass!!

It was a "I need to veg night!" So I did!!

I wonder how my Yard sale stuff is doing? I had ever intention of going after work, but the silly border wait put an end to that! Lucy and Max were crossing their legs by the time I got home! and boy, once I sat down, I did not want to move at all!! Good thing DH went and got Chinese!! hehehe

The {21} Challenge - Day Eleven

The {21} Challenge is at Day Eleven - and I'm still trying!!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I learned the essence of this quote in my former life as a door to door salesperson. Its very true! Amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it!

Well its Day Eleven! Ten Days left to go! I'm still participating, thinking of ways to be creative every day! Its so exciting.

Today I started the task of figuring out what my "unloved" stash is, and labeling it for my LSS's Customer Garage Sale. I made my own GSD file. I posted the link to download it Here:
Ok I may not update the blog every day, but I'm still walking the dogs and being creative, and after Day Eleven, I still feel so Good about it!!! And I eventually update this blog too!!

Thanks Again Rhonna for this challenge! Max and Lucy say "woof" too!!

The {21} Challenge - Day 10

Rhonna's Challenge is at Day 10!! Woohoo!! I'm still doing this too!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Tuesday, Tuesday.

Today I walked Lucy alone - her leg was better - unfortunately we did not get THAT far. It started to Thunderstorm a little way into the walk. It was very odd, and around dusk. It felt like the lightening was almost in our face, (at this point we were bookin' it home!) When we were near the Park, it was quiet, until a lightening bolt flashed, then boy oh boy, those birds started squawking. It was so odd. Very glad the greyhound and I made it home safe!.

Made the Harry Potter Paper piercing tonight. I think they turned out OK. I made them as a RAK for a friend.

Rhonna Farrer’s {21} Challenge Day Nine

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Thanks to everyone for such nice comments on my blog! I've also been getting your emails too!! Thank you!!

So for Monday - Lucy's Leg was acting up - so I decided to walk Max alone. Boy oh Boy. I forgot how fast he walks on his own. Can you believe the greyhound slows him down? I swear we walked two miles in less than a half an hour. It was insane. I felt like I was speed walking, but I did not stop him. A;) The dog was smiling he was so happy, and B;) it actually was good for me.... right???

For the creative side of things, well I did not actually do anything particularly creative, except plan and get items ready for a project for Lucy. It will be interesting when I'm done, I'm sure.

Will post when its done!

Rhonna Farrer's {21} Challenge - Day Five

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Nice quote!

Again, very true!! I'm so tired today - and geeked too - Look who posted on little ol' me's blog????

Rhonna Did!! Woohoo!!! I'm so geeked. Look Here See I told you its true!!

As for my creative part of my challenge - I will make this up tomorrow - all I did today was read another magazine and STARE at a project. I will have this finished by the end of the challenge - I'm adding it as a goal. Today I did a greyhound thing, and change the spark plugs in my truck after work, so all I could do when I was done was STARE at it. So I decided to update the blog. I was so geeked to see Rhonna's name in the comments!! Made my night!!

ADOPTED! - Banker Cruz!

Mr. Cruz

This good looking guy was adopted on Monday!! Congratulations on finding your forever family!!!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Isn't this a great quote!!

The dogs and I took a short walk today..... Its Monday, and the first day back to work after a vacation.....I was wiped! It does not help that I ran around like a chicken, getting DH his present, "creatively" wrapping it, (seriously, I was creative! I ran out of paper, used tissue paper and a gift bag..... not my best job, but definitely creative!!) only had a few more minutes to finish wrapping and hide it before he came home!! LOL But we did it!!

***Updated to add - he did not find it either!! Woohoo!!! I rock!!

Its Coming.................
