Messing around with Inkscape Again:

Someone asked on the CRFun Yahoo Group to help her with a file.

It intrigued me to try to help her. My first try was interesting, but it does include the Eyes & Mouth. I'll include the link to download - but you will want to clean it up a bit. It cuts very delicately, and I doubt I would make it smaller....lol HERE is the link to the GSD.

My Second try I like better - its more simplified and no eyes and mouth!! lol I can see me actually using this one! HERE Is the link for that. If fact I would recommend this file before the first one.

Feel free to share the link to the file, and if you use it, link it to the comments - I'd love to see your work!

Enjoy!

Another Card!

I had to wait until today to post it!! It was for the card countdown to the SavvyNSassy Olympic Online Crop.

My country was the Philippines.

National Flag of Philippines

Proportions: 1:2 Philippine Flag Description:
The flag of the Philippines consists of two horizontal stripes and a white horizontal triangle on the left side of the flag facing the middle. The top stripe is blue and the bottom is red. In each corner of the triangle is a five pointed gold/yellow star. In the center of the triangle there is a large gold/yellow sun.

Philippine Flag Meaning:
The blue stripe symbolizes patriotism and justice. The red represents valor and the blood spilt for freedom and independence and the white stands for peace and purity. The white triangle represents equality and the Katipunan nationalist organization. The three stars represent the three main geographical regions of the Philippines: Luzon, Mindanao and Visayas. The sun represents independence and its eight rays represent the eight provinces that led the Philippine uprising against Spanish rule.

For this card I used SNS Ribbon; found HERE as well as stash ribbon, Stash Cardstock and a great cutting file by Mary.

Good Friday....

Went by way too fast. I only completed two LO's today!! Yikes!! At the same time; my greyhound required a lot of TLC today. Bad day for her. On the bright side, we are going to a vet that specializes in greyhounds tomorrow morning... 8AM....7 hours from now. Please wish us luck that he can help her!! (Its at the point of it needs to be fixed; or a VERY hard decision needs to be made; that makes me so sad to even think about)

On to better news:

I finished up my LO's with my DT kit over at SNS! I still have more time to create more if I'm up to it tomorrow!! Yeah!!

I worked with the ZZ March Caliope Reverie Kit, it is so awesome! So awesome my kitty :hearts: these ribbons too!! I have no idea how many times I chased her around the house this month....who knew she had a passion for lace?

I've been asked to be a Godmother!

I'm delighted and honored to be asked to be Riley's Godmother. I said Yes Of course!

Here's a LO I did when she was born:

Here is the GSD File For the word "future". Its a bit flimsy when it cut, but it does cut. It was one of my first tries at connecting words - before I fully had a grasp on what I was doing. Enjoy!!
